THINKING about going away for the August bank holiday but worried you’ve missed out on the best deals?

No need to worry - we’ve found some last-minute UK offers that are still available to book for travelling next month.

One of the cheapest we spotted was for a holiday park stay with Parkdean Resorts.

For a 3-night stay at Sandylands Holiday Park in Ayrshire from August 26, you would pay just £259.

As it’s a two-bed caravan that sleeps up to six people, that means it costs from £14pp a night.

They also have bigger caravans that would accommodate up to eight people.

Haven has a similar deal for their holiday park in Berwick, Northumberland, checking in on August 26.

You’d stay in a 3-bed caravan, sleeping up to six people, for £259 for the 3-night stay - working out to be £14pp a night.

If you want a bit more flexibility around the number of people and where you go, try booking self-catered accommodation through somewhere like Sykes Cottages.

You’ll get the best deal if you book for a week-long stay.

For example, you can stay at Fort Mountain House in County Wexford for a week for £376.

With space for four, it works out to be just over £13pp a night.

Here are some other UK deals for the August bank holiday weekend:

Meanwhile, Thorpe Park has overnight stays from £58 for Sun readers – including park tickets & kids eat free.

Or you can bag a hot tub staycation from £24pp a night in September.
